The exhibition that prompts my question was not an art exhibition but I'm sure the same principle would apply. ---------------------- Date: Mon, 19 May 2003 From: Iain Brown, iain@iainbrown.net Again I don't have any of my style guides to hand, but (speaking off the top of my head) I would have thought the name should be placed in inverted commas for the first instance, and then just left unadorned thereafter. For example: The Royal Academy in London is putting on an exhibition entitled 'Saving Dresden's Art Treasures' until 8 June 2003. [some waffle in here...] The Saving Dresden's Art Treasures exhibition includes "photographs documenting the salvage operation mounted in the wake of the flood that devastated the city in August 2002. It's not a very good example, and it is early on a Monday...
